  5. The Lorax is a cautionary tale because, in the story the author cut down all the trees knowing that there would be a problem following it. When he cut down all the trees the town didn't have a clean sky or fresh air. So there was an agreement made that trees would be planted to fix the problem.

The Lorax has long been considered a cautionary tale of what may come to pass if logging and other earth related destruction are allowed to continue, because in the story of The Lorax, a creature that speaks for the trees against the greedy, environment destroying Once-ler obliterating everything in the area until the birds and other creatures are forced to leave the forest. The Lorax also leaves the area when there is no longer anything left.

This is considered a cautionary tale because the story line has to do with a real life situation that could effect and harm our earth. It was saying that if were not careful there might be a chance of us not being able to have the resources we need. Also the animals will lose their habitat. To stop this we need to plant more plants and use less paper. Just as the Once-ler said.

A cautionary tale is a traditional narrative with a moral message warning of the consequences of the character flaws.and in this story they tell what the once-ler did to the forest because he wanted to get rich he was selfish and greedy and he was going to do anything he could to sell his product.he was even told that he was going to kill or make allthe animals leave but he didnt listen until the whole forest was gone. so he was sad and very very worrried

This is a cautionary tale because the Lorax is telling everyone to not chop down the trees. He is constantly warning them about the consequences to doing this, but they don't listen. Eventually, the Once-ler has a chance to save the environment after he almost destroyed it. This story is connected to the world because it is showing what humans are doing to our planet. It is telling us what might happen because of global warming, and putting all the things humans do to the earth in perspective. It cautions us to not hurt our planet as much as the Once-ler did.
