The one that I found was the most persuasive was #7:You get to hang out with friends while learning something and still having a good time. I agree with most of them

  5. Yess I agree. I found #4 most convincing because being a teenager you want to get into college and the college seeing that might make them think that person will do good. The persuasive technique is giving evidence or facts about how colleges will like that. They also state opinions like #10 that says it's an opportunity to change your life because it might not change everybody's life.

  6. yeah, i agree. the most convincing and persuasive to me was #2 because a lot of teens (including me) want to make money, loads of money. Since #2 said that you get a strong chance of making money, the reader is just persuaded to join.

  7. Yes, i agree. I think that #5 was the most convinsing because with a good resume, you can get better jobs. When you get better jobs than you have a better chance at making more money and the club will have paid off. It never jurts to do any extra work to earn the most money possible.

  9. yes i agree but the reason i was persuaded to agree was number 3 "You have something more valuable than money, something that you will not have for much longer and that you should take advantage of: You have time." which is very true kids have more time to learn this stuf than an adult would

I don't really agree with the author accept for one reason they said. The persausive technique i found most convinving was, "You'll have a strong chance of making money." because i think it is the only thing that you get out of the investing club.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think its good because it will teach the teenagers a lesson about money and what to do with it.

  18. I agree with the teenager because all of the facts/persuasive statements will actually help you in the future. You will earn money. But if you don't know what to do with it other then buying junk then you should go to an investment club. It actually will look goodnon your resume because investing money is an important job. I myself isn't really interested, but it sounds lije it will help you even if thats not the job you want it will help you in the long run.

Yes, I agree. The persuasive statements that were most convincing were #2 & 4 because #2 discussed how you can have a strong possibility of making money, which can make you successful. Also, #4 discuss how colleges would notice you because you do this activity; which can get you into a good or great college.

-- Yess, I agree. I found #4 and 5 most convincing because since most teenagers would want to go to college they would do everything possible to make their resumé look good to the people who would admit you into college. The persuasive technique is adding facts and stating what will make you want to join the club and also some facts.

I agree with most of the reason because you can change your life and enjoy yourself if you paticipate in the investment club. The persuasive technique that the author used was that he used facts to list the reason why you should join.

I agree with what Brian had to say. It seems like it is a very good way to start off. Then you would be able to many other choices in business. The best persuasive technique that i thought was most affective was the way he added all the positive things and made it seem like if you did this your life would be a whole lot better

  27. i agree with #4 because colleges want to make sure you are a well rounded person. Also colleges look at it to see if you done something else besides school work and work in the community

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree with #4 because of the fact that colleges would look at this as a good extracurricular activity on your college application. So, I would join this to get into a good college.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I Agree with # 7 , You get to hang out with friends while learning something and still having a good time. Most Teenage college students would still want to hang out with there friends , & have a good time.

  30. I think # 10, because it is very hard to change your life when you are already in trouble and having the chance to do that is a great opportunity.

  31. I agree, and I think the best persuasive technique is that they keep telling you that you will get money. Everyone wants money, and telling people that they will get a chance to earn some, automatically makes people interested. Even if someone doesn't want to join for the money aspect, it is an added perk that everyone likes, and it can draw you into doing something.

  34. I think that #1 is more persuasive because teens tend to forget alot. when you miss out on something it could get you in some trouble later on in life.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think that the technique that was the best was the one that used facts because it surprises the reader with something that a normal person would not know

  36. I agree with #7 because when your with your friends learning is not so boring and its more fun.

  37. I think #2 was a good tecniic to use because teenagers spend alot of money so teling them they will have a strong chance of making money will make them more intrested then something they wil not have a chance of getting paid for

I do agree, the persuasive tecnique the author used was basicaly just telling you everything you want to hear to get you to join. Alot of people want to go to college (4) and have good resumes (5), get to know busniss people (6), and have all the things you need for life. By telling me things that will help me, makes me want to possibly join.

#7 was most persasive. It implies that since you will hang out with friends, they are taking the club. This creates a bandwagon tequnique. I like to hang out with my friends. That's why it's most persuasive.

  44. I agree. i think the most persuasive was #1 and 2 because in school teachers only teach you about stuff that 'might' help you in school but this teaches you about what 'will'. Making money is the most important in out economy right now, it would help everyone to learn at an earlier age.

I do agree with this article. The most persuasive parts of the text would be the repetition of the word "you" this makes the reader really contemplate about this program and what it can do for them. For example,"You'll have the opportunity to change your life." makes the reader think about their life.

i disagree because it talks about all the possiblites of joining this club where doesn't even talks about what they do like they could be also doing things that most people may not like. the most persavie tech.i found was it's the extaracularr activiy that colleges will look at since now and days most people are trying to get into college and can be fool by this.

I agree with this bit of infromation and agree with #3 and 4 beacuse we do have time right now and not even money can buy you more. Then if you waste it and colleges ask for it you won't be able to show it.

  64. I do agree that joining an investment club is a good idea. The persuasive technique that I found the most convincing was the appeal to my academics. The magazine says, ”It’s a good extracurricular activity that colleges will look at.” College is essential to a good a job and future, so having that I participated in an investment club on a resume may help me get accepted into a good school. I think academics are the most important of all the benefits listed, so that would be the technique that convinced me to participate in an investment club.
